Scholarship Awards

Erin's Radiance is proud to announce our inaugural scholarship winners for 2025. These recipients were chosen based on their outstanding achievement in suicide awareness and prevention, overcoming obstacles and financial need.

All scholarship winners from Erin's Radiance become honorary board members to help serve in the award selection for future years and to continue Erin's message as they continue their journey in life.

We could not be more proud of these award winners and wish them luck in college.

Christina Bouikidis

Christina is a sophomore at the University of Delaware and the president of the suicide awareness club for the university, majoring in pre-veterinary medicine and a member of the TriDelta Sorority.

Christina and Erin were close friends since Erin was 2 years old. Christina was always the "mother-hen" looking after Erin and misses her daily. She visits Erin's grave often to still watch over her. She was our first choice for awards, not because they were friends, but she has proven to continue Erin's legacy and bring suicide awareness to others.

Ashley MacGillivary

Ashley was born with cerebral palsy and the doctors told her parents she wouldn't walk again. She underwent several surgeries and years of physical therapy to successfully walk.

Her disability still leaves her challenges when working on her feet but she continues to strive to work hard every day, no matter the challenges.

Ashley received this award for her bravery through obstacles, striving to stay strong and positive, achieving the impossible. She serves as a positive reminder that staying strong and determined can succeed in life.

Ashley is a freshman at St. Johns River State River College, majoring in psychology.
