Erin's Radiance

There's nothing easy as 1-2-3. Erin died 12/3/2023. She was a beautiful, smart, funny 14 year old who had her whole life ahead of her. She woke up everyday happy and forward looking to her day. Her makeup was always perfect and she had about 1000 stuff animals. She loved everyone and was a people pleaser. She was bullied at school and yet was excited to go to school everyday. 

 Erin started her mental health issues in 2021 and was under treatment for depression and anxiety. This idea of suicide was never on the table. This was never in view.  As we continue moving through the grief process, we have PTSD from the day, we cry everyday, we miss her everyday and love Erin with all of our hearts. Our hearts broke that day and will never be whole again. It's one thing to loss a child and it's another to lose a child from this. This could have been prevented. This didn't have to be her story and now it's our story.

We have never been impacted by suicide. After she passed, we learned of how many people have been impacted which was shocking. And the people who shared their stories with us, aren't over the passing of their loved one either, as the pain was seen in their eyes.
